Noninvasive prenataltests in a single tertiary hospital

Abstract：Objective To examine the reproducibility of noninvasive prenatal test (NIPT) results based on the NextSeq CN500 sequencer in the setting of a tertiary hospital.Methods Seventy negative samples and 6 positive samples extracted from 367 cases of NIPT prospective samples that had been detected by a third-party testing organization were re-tested in the hospital laboratory. The results of the repetitive test were compared with results of the first test.Results The qualitative results of the repetitive test were consistent with those of the first, but there was an insignificant difference in Z scores between the two tests.Conclusion The reproducibility of NIPT results based on NextSeq CN500 sequencing platform was satisfactory.
