Abstract:Objective To compare the clinical outcome of three different endometrial preparation methods for single blastocyst transfer in freezing and thawing cycles. Methods The clinical data of 681 single blastocyst frozen thawed embryo transfer cycles were retrospectively analyzed. Three groups were classified according to endometrial preparation method. Group 1 consisted of 495 cases of hormone replacement cycle, group 2 142 cases of natural cycle group, and group 3 44 cases of micro stimulation cycle. Biochemical pregnancy rate, clinical pregnancy rate, and early abortion rate were analyzed and compared. Results The clinical pregnancy rate of the three groups was 63.0%, 59.2%, and 61.4%, respectively; the abortion rate was 11.2%, 11.1% and 11.9%, respectively; and the biochemical pregnancy rate was 69.5%, 63.4% and 65.9%, respectively. There was no significant difference in clinical pregnancy rate, biochemical pregnancy rate, and early abortion rate among the three groups. Conclusion The three endometrial preparation methods in single blastocyst freezing thawing transplantation are comparable in terms of clinical pregnancy rate, biochemical pregnancy rate, and early abortion rate.
